What if the world's greatest detective had been a woman?

A few months ago, I wondered how the adventures of Sherlock Holmes would read if the famous detective had been a woman. Since the stories are in the public domain, I decided to do a little literature hacking and create a mash-up. The result is (private detective) Felicity Holmes and Dr Elizabeth Watson. Then I went through the adventures of Sherlock Holms and rewrote them slightly to accommodate the feminised versions of the well known detective and his side-kick.

I shared the early result with friends who loved the stories and pointed out some typos. So, I had an editor go through the material more carefully and present to you, the adventures of Felicity Holmes.
